Step 4. Stencil Creation

The exposure process hardens the uncovered areas of the screen, while any remaining unexposed emulsion is washed away, leaving behind a clean stencil of the design. The screen is dried, and any necessary touch-ups are made to ensure the stencil closely matches the original design. At this point, the stencil is ready for use.

Step 5. Preparing for Print

The material to be printed on is placed flat on the printing board, and the screen printing screen mesh is positioned on top of it, aligning the stencil in the desired print location.

Step 6. Applying the Design

This is when the magic happens. With the silk screen printing mesh in position, the desired ink color is placed at the top of the screen. Using a screen printing squeegee, the ink is evenly spread along the screen's length. The ink flows through the open areas of the stencil and is transferred onto the material below. Once all the items are printed, the stencil is no longer needed. Special cleaning solutions are used to remove the emulsion, making the screen ready for a new design.
